Reflections of a proud mom

I have watched the vision of Bottoms Up Diaper Bank take shape and grow from the bottom up.  As a single mom, Danielle’s own diaper need enabled her to understand the struggle of others. She didn’t wait until life was smooth to lend a hand. She began by helping one friend and then families on her job. She was resourceful and unknowingly laying the foundation for something bigger.

She began researching the issue of diaper need and what more could be done. She couldn’t get support from diaper companies or big business. Diaper need in a rural area was not great enough for their support. Determined to do something she began using her home grown support network: Woman to Woman, Inc., St. Matthew Baptist Church, couponers, classmates, friends, and family. Bottoms Up Diaper Bank was born.

Bottoms Up Diaper Bank is an all volunteer community outreach. Imagine that! There’s no payroll. However if you need work experience or networking opportunities consider volunteering. There are also learning opportunities for marketing. accounting, journalism, mass media, production line management and more. A good letter of recommendation helps open doors. Bottoms Up Diaper Bank’s provides value far beyond diaper distribution.

As a parent you want your children to become good, conscientious, productive citizens in society. Danielle and her vision exemplify this.

“There’s a destiny that makes us brothers (and sisters). None goes this way alone. All that we give to others come back into our very own.” Modern Woodman of America creed. This is what happens when you support Bottoms Up Diaper Bank

Thanks to for your support of Bottoms Up Diaper Bank. God Bless You.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 NIV

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:40 NIV

Yes, I’m one Proud Mom.
