Can’t believe Fall is almost here! With Fall comes Diaper Need Awareness Week.

Diaper Need Awareness Week 2022 is September 24 thru October 2, 2022. Diaper Need Awareness Week is an initiative started by the National Diaper Bank Network as a way to bring awareness to diaper need in our community.

1 in 3 families struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their baby clean, dry, and healthy.

This year will be Bottoms Up 2nd year actively participating in Diaper need awareness week.

Last year in recognition of Diaper Need Awareness Week, we were able to get three proclamations. We received proclamations from the Mayors of Eutaw and Tuscaloosa, and the Governor of Alabama.

It is our goal to increase the awareness of diaper need in our community. An increase in awareness comes from continued community donations and support. 

This year we are asking community members, business, and organizations to host a diaper donation drive on our behalf or make a donation. All items and funds collected with benefit families in Greene and Tuscaloosa Counties. We have a goal to collect seven thousand diapers by the end of Diaper Need Awareness Week (October 2nd.)

We are able to do what we do with the continued support of others. Help us continue to serve the families in Greene and Tuscaloosa Counties.
