The Walmart Community Grant, is a grant that gives monetary assistance to nonprofits in their service area.
According to their site
Walmart’s philanthropic approach is rooted in our company’s mission to create opportunity, so people can live better. Through the philanthropic investments of Walmart.org, we strive to systematically address some of the biggest economic, environmental, and social challenges faced in the world today. But we can’t do it alone. We work closely with our grantees to address large scale environmental and social challenges in three priority areas:
- Creating opportunity
- Advancing sustainability
- Strengthening community
Because having access to an adequate supply of clean diapers is a need for babies, we were able to apply for the grant under “health and human services”. We have been luck to receive the Walmart Community Grant on 3 different occasions.
Dec. 2018 from Sam’s Club-$1500, Mar 2019 and Nov. 2020 from Walmart Super Center #715-$500 both times.
These grants are and will be beneficial in continuing to provide families with adequate supply of diapers for their babies.
We are better together. Helping families one contribution at a time.
