Educator Voices

Back in June, we asked local educators to share their experiences with Bottoms Up Diaper Bank. This response is a beautiful reminder of why this work matters.

For this educator and mother, receiving diapers each month means one less expense to worry about, and peace of mind knowing her baby has what she needs while she’s at daycare.

She shared that having diapers available allows her to go to work and focus on her students without worrying about running out of one of her baby’s most essential necessities.

That’s the impact of diaper support.

From Mrs. CB, Educator:

As an educator and a mother, I am extremely grateful for the support I have received from Bottoms Up Diaper Bank. Each month, the diapers I receive are used for my baby girl while she is at daycare, and this assistance has truly been a blessing to my family.

As educators, we dedicate so much of ourselves to caring for, teaching, and supporting other children each day. While teaching is a profession that I love, the everyday expenses of raising a child can add up quickly. Having diapers provided each month helps relieve some of that financial responsibility and gives me one less expense to worry about.

Knowing that my baby has the diapers she needs for daycare allows me to go to work and focus on my students without having to worry about purchasing or running out of one of her most essential necessities. The support from Bottoms Up Diaper Bank may seem like a simple act, but for working parents and educators like me, it makes a meaningful difference.

I am truly thankful for Bottoms Up Diaper Bank and the support they provide to families in our community. Their generosity has helped make life a little easier for me as I balance being both an educator and a mother.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and allowing us to share your words. As educators and working parents, we understand how much you pour into others while also caring for your own families. We’re honored that Bottoms Up can help make things just a little easier for you and your baby girl.

If you are an educator that has been impacted by Bottoms Up, we would love to hear from you.
