As I type this post, I am on my way home from spending time with family. We have had a day filled with family, food, pictures, and love. Did I say food?! Lots of food.
It is not lost on me that there are families who had to make hard choices this holiday. They had to choose between necessities like food, clothing, diapers, or bills. When choosing between necessities, something is always left out.
I am glad that Bottoms Up is available to help reduce some of the burden on families. I know that it may not be enough to get a family through the month, but that it allows families to make their dollars go further.
Our list of thanks.
Mrs. Johnnie Knott and Woman to Woman Inc: They have helped Bottoms Up from the beginning. They were our fiscal sponsor for 5 years. They have opened their space to the diaper bank since its inception.
Ms. Pinkie Travis and New Life Baptist Church: With their support, Bottoms Up was able to expand to serving families in Tuscaloosa. They have given Bottoms Up the space to store diapers and the 1st Tuscaloosa distribution site.
Mrs. Diana Shaw and Forest Lake United Methodist Church: They have not only given Bottoms Up additional storage space & distribution site, they have allowed for an easy transition to serving other organizations that serve families.

Boligee Councilwoman, Teresa Mack for assisting in getting families in Boligee signed up to receive diapers and helping to secure a location for us to meet families.
Mrs. Jacquie Johnson from Alabama One Foundation, for allowing us to use her site as an additional location for families to pick up diapers. And connecting us with Mr. David, who helps make sure that the families receive their diapers.

Our unofficial diaper bank mentors, Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank, Maryland Diaper Bank, and Hawaii Diaper Bank. They have been available for any questions that I have (I need to connect with them again soon)
Last but not least, I am thankful to the families and friends of the diaper bank; especially my personal family. It is with your support that I am able to do what I do for the families in West Alabama.
As always, thank you for your continued support of myself and Bottoms Up Diaper Bank and the things we are doing in West Alabama.
All that I do, I do in love!
