On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 the diaper bank held it’s first DIAPER-A-THON. The event was co-hosted by Barbara Miller of Elite Entertainment.

The diaper-a-thon started at 6 pm. With an initial goal of $400. After one hour and 45 minutes on-line, we met our goal. During the event, Ms. Miller chose to donate a paint party for 7 from Elite Entertainment. All donors will be entered in a drawing, and the winner will receive the paint party. We continued to accept donations beyond the event and have raised over $800 for the diaper bank. The winner of the paint party will be chosen at our next distribution day.

The goal of the diaper-a-thon was to raise funds to organize our newly acquired storage space. It is our plan to purchase shelves, so that we are able to store and organize purchased/donated diapers. With funds left over we hope to purchase tables, so that we and our volunteers will have space to count and package diapers.

We are thankful to Ms. Miller and Elite Entertainment for co-hosting this event. We are thankful to those who have donated and shared our event with others. We are only able to do what we do, with the support of others.
