Concerns for diaper distribution in GC

We hope this message finds you well.

You may have seen our recent social media post about the concern that many families in Greene County have completed applications but have not been able to pick up diapers. Out of 61 families who applied, only 5 attended distribution this month.

Because of the low turnout, our Greene County distributions are currently scheduled every other month, during the even months of the year. Our next pickup will be in December.
If you are ever in Tuscaloosa on a distribution day, you are welcome to pick up at one of those sites as well.

Our goal is always to serve families directly. However, at this time we do not have the capacity to change our current distribution model.

💬 We Want to Hear from You!

We’re exploring ways to make communication easier.
Would you be open to using GroupMe to receive reminders about diaper pickup days?
(Please note: Family names may be visible to others in the group unless you change your display name, so confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.)

📋 Application Clarification

We’ve heard that some families are unsure if their applications were approved, here’s a quick clarification:
✅ No approval is needed. If you are the parent or guardian of a baby, you are eligible to pick up diapers.
📩 We will continue reviewing the application list and send a confirmation email when your form is received.
💡 If you entered a valid email address on your form, you should have automatically received a confirmation from Google when you submitted it.
